Karmel Ackerman / Director of Events

As Director of Events at The Barn at Holly Farm, Karmel's main mission is to help people gather, communicate and celebrate — to help people pause and feel the moment, laugh together, share a meal and create memories to last a lifetime.

Karmel has an extensive background in professional events management, including launching her own company, Event & Marketing Associates, Inc., that designed and managed large staged productions, trade shows, and events around the world in the IT, banking and yachting industries as well as for private families. Her company specialized in research, business plan writing, event production and crisis management. One of Event & Marketing Associate's largest productions was the worldwide launch of Microsoft's Windows 95.

Now Karmel is pleased to use her organizational background and detailed planning skills to create magical events, whether for beautiful weddings, special celebrations or smoothly-run corporate functions. And The Barn at Holly Farm has been the perfect venue for her to make these dreams come true.

Deanne Angell / Designer & Host

Deanne has the gift of making everyone she meets feel like a lifelong friend. You will find her smile contagious and she is a great example of how planning a celebration together can create a lasting friendship. Deanne pours her creative energy into designing your event, and usually attends our events in the 'background' making sure everything runs smoothly. Deanne’s career as concierge and marketing associate in the hospitality and aviation industries gives her unique qualifications as a designer and host for your special event, whether it's a beautifully designed wedding, company strategy event, life celebration, reunion or party.

Holly Winter / Event & Tour Host

Holly spends most of her days caring for the Holly Farm horses, llamas, alpacas, sheep, goats, chickens and a few bunnies! Holly and her enthusiasm for all things farm and fitness gives her the strength to push life to the limits. Her interests range from jumping out of a plane or white water river guiding to hosting our Holly Farm clients. Holly is known for diving in to save the day when a client needs an extra hand to make sure their event comes off just as they dreamed. She is an exceptional Barn Event Host!

Traci McLeod / Gardening, Set Up & Security

You might not catch a glimpse of Traci, but there is no doubt you will notice her talents as you enjoy your celebration at The Barn at Holly Farm. Traci has had her hand on almost every improvement at the Barn for that last 4 years. From the walls in the Boardroom, to the floor in the dressing rooms, to the edible garden and the plantings and flowers around our grounds, we have trusted Traci to care for The Barn at Holly Farm as if it was her own. If you do see her, you'll get a glimpse of her huge smile!
